Loretto Chappell Collection
Abstract
The collection of Loretto Chappell contains a variety of information, including photos and correspondence between her and Gertrud Mahler, a German woman, from 1948 to 1966, as well as correspondence between Chappell and Catherine Thurston and Mil Lapsinova. The collection also contains information about Miss Chappell being suspected of affiliation with the Communist party by the state of Georgia in the early 1950s.
