I am drawn to the subject of comics and graphic novels because of the collaboration between art and literature. In the process of creating this work, I have continuously drafted and critically brainstormed my work. I want my viewer to read a story through my artwork and to make it cinematic. I discovered that my approach needed to be developed with substance. I find inspiration in television shows, movies, and books. Graphic design is at the center of my art. I do a combination of writing my ideas down but also creating an image for my vision. My work is a combination of sketching and digital design. To me, the most important things are patience and not second-guessing myself. I make connections between art and storytelling. To me, this represents the process of designing and drafting out your final work.
The final project will be an exhibition that will include mini-stories of the upcoming self-created series by the artist. The Artist's intent is to give a full preview of the artist's vision for the future comic book series.
