Music Therapy Used in Speech Therapy
Abstract
When regarding Georgia College students who have had past or have current speech therapy experiences, is music used to aid in the success of speech therapy? The purpose of this research is to see if music is used in accordance with speech therapy to reach the client's speech therapy goals. This research will be conducted through surveys. The first survey question is "have you ever had or are you currently in speech therapy?" If the answer is yes, then the person will be asked the second question which is "was music ever used in your speech therapy experiences?" I will collect data and analyze it based on how many people answer yes and how many people answer no to question 1, and how many people answer yes and how many people answer no to question 2.
