Abstract

Francophone Literature gleams a rich heritage in all literary cannons. Through examining the works of Tahar Ben Jelloun and Mariama Ba, one can notice patterns of structural oppression and prejudice. These patterns, are compared to contemporary sociological and psychological articles, which ultimately unveils many similarities to a new type of colonialism, called Neocolonialsm.
