Abstract

Students too often just “get through” physics without any permanent learning. A factor that attributes to this is the lack of developed scientific reasoning through inquiry. Can students be taught methods of inquiry through exposure to primary literature which model them? This action research will investigate the impact of incorporating primary literature into the curriculum on students’ ability to reason through inquiry like a scientist.
