Abstract
This research is based on a literature review of the project-based learning method of teaching photography in an art classroom. The researcher examines the use of exploration, collaboration, and real-world scenarios designed for student success in an example unit. The unit focuses on this method through the study of photo manipulation and creation projects. The research explores what the project-based learning method is and which strategies were successful in the teaching of the unit. This presentation examines what was experienced during the instruction of the unit to secondary art students, and an overview of the literature review.
