Abstract

Abstract–: Let (Formula presented.) be a star operation on a ring extension (Formula presented.). The ring extension is said to be a generalized (Formula presented.) -greatest common divisor (G- (Formula presented.) GCD) extension if the intersection of two (Formula presented.) -invertible ideals of R is (Formula presented.) -invertible. We investigate properties of G- (Formula presented.) GCD extensions. We give special attention to polynomial rings and Nagata rings.
