Abstract
The purpose of this poster is a study of modern scattering techniques. I will describe modern uses of scattering techniques such as Thomson, Rayleigh, Mie, and Raman and give reference to several disciplines in which they currently are or have been used, such as plasma physics, biomedical sciences, and mechanical engineering. This poster will explore the methods history, the early uses of each technique, the progression/modifications of each, and possible future developments of each scattering method.
