Graduate Research Showcase (Graduate Research)

The Graduate School at Georgia College & State University hosts the Graduate Research Showcase annually in the spring. Previously known as the Graduate Research Poster Exhibit and Competition, the Graduate Research Showcase is an opportunity for Georgia College & State University graduate students to showcase the breadth and depth of their research, including in-progress research, to the campus community and externally. The showcase includes oral presentations, posters, and pre-recorded presentations across the disciplines.

The Journal of Legal Studies in Business (ISSN: 1078-3873) is a double blind, peer reviewed journal that has been published annually both in hard copy and electronic form since 1994. The journal is published by Cengage Learning, and is affiliated with the Academy of Legal Studies in Business via its Southeast Regional partner, the Southeastern Academy of Legal Studies in Business.

The Journal of Legal Studies in Business is a highly selective journal with an 18% acceptance rate in the most recent year calculated, and an average acceptance rate of 25% for the preceding three year period.

The journal is available in hard copy by subscription, and is carried by over 700 libraries and institutions across the United States. The journal is also indexed in the Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities and the Index to Legal Periodicals and Books, and is available in full text electronic version via the ABI/Inform and Ebsco Host databases and in delayed release on this page.

The Journal of Legal Studies in Business features a variety of subject matter relating to business law, commercial law, international commerce, ethics, and social responsibility. We also publish an “online pedagogical supplement” featuring articles on the scholarship of teaching and learning relating to law and ethics instruction in higher education.

Russell Library Undergraduate Research Award (Ina Dillard Russell Library)

The Ina Dillard Russell Library is happy to announce the annual Undergraduate Research Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize student scholarship that utilizes library resources and to highlight the contribution the library has on student outcomes.

The award recognizes up to two top scholars annually. To be considered, you must upload your paper or presentation to the Knowledge Box.
