The Science Education Center was established in 2001 with generous support from the kaolin industry of middle Georgia and the Eminent Scholars Trust Fund at the University System of Georgia. The Center promotes access, interest, and participation in science by people of all ages and backgrounds. Through partnerships with departments at Georgia College and collaborations beyond the campus, the Center offers a diverse array of exciting courses, intensive teacher professional development institutes, curriculum planning, research experiences, scientific competitions, summer camps, community events, project development, and more.
