A Comprehensive Study of the Energy Efficiency of Herty Hall
Abstract
With the age of Herty Hall at Georgia College, a significant amount of money is spent annually due to outdated systems and infrastructure. Our group is conducting an in depth analysis of the building, looking at the climate control systems, at heat loss due to wall, windows and entrances, and electrical components, to determine the main sources of inefficiency. From our findings, we will propose what changes can be made, explaining the projected costs, savings, and environmental impact such improvements would have.
