Abstract

The research focuses on the interdisciplinary method of teaching art. The researcher examines what a unit based on these strategies would look like and which additional strategies are a good match for the interdisciplinary method. This presentation also examines the strengths and weaknesses of a specific interdisciplinary unit taught to middle school students focusing on interweaving the production of art with learning about the culture and history of China.
