Abstract

This literature review focuses on an argumentative writing unit with a focus on utilizing a workshop atmosphere in the classroom. It analyzes the importance of teaching students the craft of writing both argumentative papers and speeches in secondary education, specifically high school. Additionally, the unit focuses on the transition from writing a paper to constructing a speech, both of which are argumentative in nature.
