Abstract
The History of Glen Mary is a research project in which I will collect many of the historical legends of the plantation called Glen Mary. It is my goal to use this research, authenticate it, write a script, then working with the members of the plantation, the theatre department, and the community to create a 4 to 5 minute short film that will help the historical site. It is an engaging project that will reach out to the community and further the education of our students. For the presentation I would like to present all of the research that went into the making of the film as well as a copy of the film, which will include historical costume research, the authenticity of the historical legends surrounding Glen Mary, and the process of going from paper to film.
