Abstract
“The Collaborative Classroom” will be a research project that will show the pros and cons of collaborative learning. This study will help to further my understanding of group work and how it promotes engagement and higher order thinking for students. I will be conducting this research in a seventh grade classroom. The students will take part in various collaborative activities and work with their peers and use social engagement to learn.
