Abstract

This action research will investigate whether inappropriate use of technology (such as games, ESPN, and other websites) in a high school business education class affects the quality of student work, grades, or ability to meet deadlines. Often, students seem to rush through their work to get to games or the put off their work and play games when they should be completing their assignments. I am interested in whether the elimination of inappropriate use of the Internet will affect their ability to do “good work.”
