Abstract
In this workshop, I will teach techniques of moving like a zombie as a vehicle to teach the acting techniques of Vsevolod Meyerhold. His method of biomechanics- precision, balance, coordination, efficiency, rhythm, expressiveness, responsiveness, playfulness and discipline- will be taught as I lead the workshop through exercises involving moving and behaving like the zombies of today's popular horror fiction. While entertaining, it will also be informative and teach actors essential movement skills that they can apply to their stage work.
