Abstract

This research focuses on a literature review of argumentative methods of writing, which predominantly originate from the text, "Argument Writing" by George Hillocks Jr. The researcher examines how a unit based on this method might be succesful, and which strategies might complement it. The researcher will also present an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the argument writing method, as it would be implemented in a secondary education setting.
