Abstract
In this workshop presentation I will incorporate the Alexander Technique's body self-awareness geared towards creating a character for stage. This will be formatted as a hands-on class and I will focus on the actor's body: how to release tension, mold a character physically, and use the body to its full potential. My aim is to apply how the actor's instruments are the body and voice, and both go hand-in-hand, so it is important to learn how to use one's body properly to serve both.
